OXO
I am OXO
a compact cage
a steak crouton
wrapped in foil
hermetically sealed
aching to leave
this cubic life -
anhydrous, craving
minestrone,
tomato chowder,
and marinade
of onion mango.
Pulp me between
your eager fingers.
Enfold my grounds
with scalding water.
Let my vapours
storm your senses.
Let each plume
pierce its way
into your taste buds.
Let flumes fly,
make rivulets
trickle over
fleshy weirs.
Tease me. Stir
my manna flakes
to liberate pure
succulence.

Pretty awesome. I have to say I'm quite jealous.
Thanks. It's very hard to find good poetry these days, but you've got it.
