"Pope Benedict's remarks were published this week in Germany in the book Schoepfung und Evolution (Creation and Evolution). He praised scientific progress and did not endorse creationist or "intelligent design" views about life's origins."
“Dozens of schools are using creationist teaching materials (circulated by the Discovery Institute, Seattle, Washington, USA)which have been condemned by the government as "not appropriate to support the science curriculum".
Guardian-Who are Truth In Science?
Truth in Science is lying on its web site. It is trying to convince the public and educators that the issue it wants taught in schools is “Intelligent Design”. This is a scam to cover its real intentions which are the same as the Discovery Institute in the USA – to get its fundamentalist religion into science classrooms.
The group has four board members including a scientist, a businessman, a teacher and a minister in the Free Church of Scotland. They also have a three-member scientific panel and a seven-member council of reference.
LEADING CREATIONIST ACTIVISTS IN THE U.K.
This list includes Professor TERRY HAMBLIN from Southampton University, who is featured in my "Sally Clark" post below (not surprising at all, considering the blogger Professor Terry Hamblin is NOT the genuine Professor Terry Hamblin. Apparently, there's no law against identity theft as long as the imposter does not gain any financial reward, but merely tarnishes the reputation of the person whose name has been acquired/stolen/used for an ulterior motive.)

What a surprise. You aren't a creationist. I had you down as a dyed in the wood irrational lefty, a believer in astrology and 'alternative' medicine( as if there could be such a thing). What went wrong?PS. must say I was disturbed to see Hamblin's name on the role call of the evolutionary dim witted.

I shouldn't really humour you, because, as I pointed out, a commenter has said that you are a "bot". I have no way of telling. If you are a bot, you are the most eloquent bot I have ever met but you do harp on a bit, like a hamster on the wheel, getting no-where fast. And you have no sense of humour, which is always a turn-off.

Coral
Drd,
Why are you using my blog as your personal complaints department? Yes, I am reading all your posts, with interest. I will continue to read your complaint. Here is a deal for you. My blog is about the creation, appreciation and expression of poetry, art, music, and lately, certain newsworthy items, such as the resignation of Tony Blair. If you have a poem or some artwork to show, I will publish. Anything else is not up for discussion. End of.
But I must ask – Where are your messages of complaint on the twenty other blogs on the Google pages subsequent to mine, which appears on page one? I have checked your non-existent blog after each of your complaints at my blog and your visitor number (mine) only increases by one, which suggests to me that you have no quarrel with any blog but mine. Please explain.
Regards,
Coral
Drd,
You do not have a poem to post. You do not have artwork to post. You do not have a link to post. Your link above is disabled. WHY ARE YOU HERE?
I AM NOT BEING KIND TO YOU. I am genuinely INTERESTED IN YOUR POSITION/GRIPES. What is your relationship to Sally Clark? You tell me yours and I will tell you mine. Do any number of Google searches on Sally Clark+tribute, Sally Clark+death. My blog is on PAGE ONE. I am not following anybody. I am a trendsetter, not a sheep, always have been.
Regards,
Coral

You have nothing of interest to say, SO WHY ARE YOU SAYING IT HERE? Open your Drd blog and SAY IT THERE. We have no common ground so WHY ARE YOU HERE? I already requested that if you have a poem or artwork then I would post it. NOTHING ELSE IS UP FOR DISCUSSION. I am shouting because you don't seem to hear. If I wanted to read you, I would read you at Drd and there is nothing at that blog.
Regards,
Coral
I bet that if you did a clinical study, you would find that deleting trolls lowers blood pressure and lowers cortisol levels.
Dear Coral,
Thank you for recently visiting my blog. Pope Benedict is a man of reason, and there are many reasons why Intelligent Design in its "trademark" form is deeply flawed philosophically (there is not need to enter into theology or science to debunk it). Nevertheless, and in spite of the fact that the current theory of Evolution may be the best scientific explanation of the origins of life, there is much yet to be said for the traditional philosophical claims of intelligent design in the universe--and Pope Benedict definitely accepts this tradition as can be seen from his many other statements on the matter. These traditional claims (and many sophisticated modern versions from reputable philosophers) ought not be confused with ID as it is currently known.
It is a pity that Schoepfung et Evolution is not yet published in English.
