Firman_p,

Thank you for calling at my site and for your valuable time sampling my unfinished sonata. Thank goodness you were able to download the file. Some people said they could not access the music. Thank you also for your html(embed)linking advice which I am trying to learn.

Ammoontie,

Thank you also for stopping by and offering your kind wishes for the holiday. I wish you a peaceful and Happy Chrismas and New Year.

Love,
Coral

Amanda and Sage,

Thank you for calling at my blog and for your kind comments that warm the cockles of my heart. I am on a slight hiatus from blogging, but please call back for more poetry in about 3 or 4 weeks time.

Hey, Celerman,

Thank you for introducing me to your poetry. I like most of yours. Some of it is quite rough and ready but re-readable. I particularly enjoyed the personification of the stones. It reminded me of the nursery rhyme:

"Six stones in the bed and the little one said: “move over”, “move over”. So they all moved over and one fell out."

Of course,'stones' and 'bed' could easily be replaced by 'teeth' and 'mouth'.

Regards,
Coral

That's a really striking photograph. I like the way you have focussed on the background. Also thanks for pointing out that my blog had become a blog of note.

Your poetry is probably about as acccessible to me as the technical content of my blog is to you, but worlds can collide from time to time, no? I'll visit from time to time just to reach out to the real world from my little technical sphere.

Happy New Year!

Steve,

Firstly, thank you so very much for the shout-out. As you rightly pointed out, for the little bloggee, all publicity is good. You must have been parading outside the Google Office, waving your giant Steve Holden banner for them to have noticed. Your blog is definitely noteworthy for the initiated. I shall return to search for a glimmer of something I can understand.

Thank you for noticing the technique I employed to create my picture. Did you also notice the last surviving (yellow) flower at the top of the photo near the roof? There is also a TV aerial attached to the chimney? It was very, very foggy (and frosty) when I shot this. You probably need to zoom in a bit.

Happy New Year to you.

Regards,
Coral
